Size: Large. Queen ~2cm, workers ~1cm
Diet: Do not require feeding until workers arrive. Feed a mix of small protein and sugars.
Set-up: Test tube up until 15-20 workers. Then move to nest and outworld.
Beautiful large ants, these queens are around 2cm in size and are very chunky! The workers are a lovely dark red and black colour and are not particularly aggressive, although they can bite!
These queens are quite relaxed and easy to care for and make a great colony for anyone to raise!
